Transmission Fluids

I own my parents MF 35 3 cylinder Perkins Diesel that they purchased New in 1963. The Transmission / Hydraulics /Diff are a common sump.

After a total rebuild of the Transmission and then Inspection of the Differential in 2021 all oil in the Tractor is 15-40.

Six Speed Transmission (H/L) 3 forward... Reverse.. NO MULTI POWER.

I have never added / mixed oils when I did not know what Oil was being used.

If it was my Tractor,I would drain all oil and Replace with new.

Your $$$$$'s your Tractor.
All the best..

As Stated- best drain-flush, and put in Correct fluid. That means- not motor oil as not a motor. Not just hyd oil as not just a hyd system! If you
must use it- top off with correct fluid Better than running low. Good news- not rocket science. Better news- somebody will be glad to relate how
Bubba X' just ran molasses drippin's for 4 ought-ought decades and the tractor ran the Application trail. In Reverse. In the Winter et
cerera...! Low oil = terrible. wrong oil = bad. Correct oil = good.
