Transmission snap ring

Looking for the snap ring that holds the front gear on the counter shaft, part number is 195497M1. Everyone advertised them online, but when you call there discontinued. Looking for a good used one or if some one has a new one. Thanks Rod

McMaster.com has a WIDE variety of snap rings, if you can't find a good used or NOS part you MAY be able to find one there by it's dimensions.

This snap ring is about 1/8 inch wide. Been running into roadblocks trying to find one that is that wide.

Have you checked with an A&I dealer or a John Deere dealer under the number A-195497M1?

jdparts.com shows it available through my nearby John Deere dealer for $2.72.

Usually their parts availability info is up to date, but who knows?
