transmission will not engage

I have a ym2000. i was driving down the road and stopped for a moment and put it in neutral. got back on and it would not move. has loader and gannon and both still worked. loader seemed to be a bit slow so i checked the hydraulic fluid and it was low. added to the appropriate level and still no movement. The gearbox seems to engage but no clutch. It may be obvious, but could it be the hydraulics or some type of clutch issue? If fluid was too low, do i just need to let it run for a bit to bring up pressure?

Your 2000 has a manual gear transmission and the hydraulics have no effect on it other than the hydraulic/transmission fluid lubricates it. Only by splash system, no pressure lube in your transmission.

Make sure your range shift lever is engaged good.

Try the pto? If it engages your clutch is good. If not, that would be most likely be the problem.

If winston's suggestions are good, try engaging the differential lock.

The selector can be tricky in finding range 2 so try other ranges.

I don't think that model has PowerShift but if it does, let me know.
