Nice looking 830, looks like you are putting in quite the tree grove, how does the planter open the ground? a knife or disc opener? thanks for posting cnt

It is a old Lother planter made in the 40's or 50's with a large disc in front of a point/shoe that you put the tree in. The tires in the rear pack the soil back around the roots.
