with my 8n ford Tried to use tatter digger to trench to put in a drain line. it would not go deep enough. any ideas that would be safe? Thank You.

The potato digger won't work . Get your self a subsoiler . I built mine & I can bury it a good 18" for sure . I've used it to bury electric wire many times . I have 2 different width shovels for it . I usually run the narrow one for wire & then for pipe I just make a second cut with the wider shovel . Depending on your ground as to how well it'll work . HTH ! God bless, Ken
 
Send me your email adddress & I will go make a sketch of it along with the measurements . You can buy the after market ones , but mine is much heavier & stronger than some of the cheap reproductions . I've used it to rip up old sidewalk sections , rocks & many other things . I welded a big eye bolt at the bottom rear corner to hook wire to so that as I dig the groove in the ground the wire goes automatically under to the depth of the groove & gets covered all in one pass . It's been successful in any under ground service I've used it for . God bless, Ken
