truck toolbox locks?

Fella,s Anybody out there got suggestion on where I could buy a pair of replacement locks for a cross bed toolbox? I just got a real good buy on a nice used box but as is so common for the used ones no keys for the locks. Any suggestions would be great. Thanks, Hoss

Around here most of the locksmith shops have replacement latches for them. Cheaper to replace them than to have keys made. Good Luck Steven

If you have a Delta box there is a number on the lock mechanism inside the box. Call Delta customer service with that number and they will mail you a couple of keys, no charge.

I think that is a pretty common thing. I bought a set of those years ago when my father in law lost the keys to my tool box. I can't remember where I got them from. I might have ordered them.

I bought the lock in to the lock shop and had 2 keys made for $13. I have no idea who made the box. But the lock had a number on it.

My experience is that one key will work in all the locks. If one of your buddies has a key, you might give it a try.
