As metioned it's the same as the Maxxum series. It's a good reliable machine with a real nice cab and even nicer features. 411cu.ci rated at 2200 rpm.In my opinion if you want simplicity and convience the 24x24 is the best transmission but is also available with 12x12 and 16x16 PS or 16x16 Autoshift 26.5 gpm hydraulics with nearly 10000 lbs 3pth lifting capacity and weighing 10265 lbs. Good tractor and if you want more answers and opinions post this on Todays Tractors

Welcome to the board! Its good to see a fellow Manitoban here. The nest door neighbor has a TS90 and a TS100A(I think, not sure on the correct numbers.) and likes them. He runs 300 cow calf pairs and those tractors do the majority of the work. No major problems or complaints that I know of. He has Allied loaders on both. I've seen quite a few TS and TSA series tractors up here in the Interlake, and have heard few complaints.

I thought that the design of the tractor was based on a FIAT design, but again I'm not sure.

I don't know too much about the TS-A tractors. I have a TS90 which I like for the most part. It's a good heavy strong tractor. The only problems have been little things, and an aux hydraulic pump when it was new, under warranty.
The TS-A is a radically different tractor from the TS though. The TS was a carryover from the Ford 40 series. The TS-A is a new platform based largely on Fiat components and powered by the new Iveco/Cummins engine. I think you'll notice that they displace 4.5 and 6.7L respectively.... about exactly the same as the new 'B'...
Can't comment on the tractor or it's reliability otherwise.
