I am trying to bring back my late son's '58 MF 65 from over a year and a half mothballed. Of course the sediment bowl gasket was toast. The ones I found in my shop were for Fords so I went off to TSC. They actually had 1 package of MF gaskets but I have been fooled before. Yep, it had been opened, the screen still there but the gasket gone. I showed it to an employee and she said they'd mark it down and put it back out. Good luck next person.

It must be regional. My local TSC has a lot of ag and tractor related parts. They don't carry brand or model specific parts for the most part, unless it is a real common thing. But I can buy hydraulic parts, 3 point parts, PTO shafts and a lot of other parts I use on my tractors and equipment. And like any store, they're going to carry what sells.

We have a Runnings a block from TSC. Haven't bought anything from TSC in years. Runnings has a lot more of everything. Pries are abuot the same last time I compared.

And pet food. In other words, what makes money. If they had stuck to just tractor parts they would have been out of business years ago.
I don't disagree. They aren't the only source of tractor parts that we've lost. I'm angry at myself for going there knowing they don't sell tractor or machinery parts.

Highest place in town. Prices through the roof.
Got a TSC 11 miles away, another 30 miles away in the opposite direction.
The TSC 30 miles away has a Rural King and a Farm and Home for competion, and is consistently cheaper than the closer store. But the closer store will price match if you can show the price, they won't check for you. I'll have it saved to the cart on my phone, show it to the cashier, no problems.

The closer store is $3 more per bag for layer pellets, cracked corn, most any livestock feed, but I get it price matched.

Couple weeks ago, they had the Traveller UTF on sale...$55 at the close store, distant store was $35. Cheap. Price matched, bought 4 buckets.

Our good farm store is going urban quickly. They still have the small stuff and tires and batteries but what they advertise is clothing and bird feeders. They have to sell what they make money on.

I remember when tsc was a small company with a few stores in the Midwest. They had the same logo. I used to mail-order from them. Now nearly every town in my area has one.

Here I remember it being Central Tractor. Had one store about 45 minutes away. Don’t think there were any other in the area. They sold all types of salvage tractor parts and farm related items. When they closed/switched hands or whatever happened their used tractor inventory was scrapped.
