TSX 245 carb weep plug weeping

Is this a symptom of another issue with the carb ?

How do you tell if the float is bad ?
I had this off and all apart couple months ago . The float seemed ok, no gas in it. Needle and seat was replaced about a year or 2 ago.
Thought I had it fixed but no, leaking again.

Float the float in a container of gasoline (CAUTION FIRE). If the float has additional solder on it, could make the
float heavy.

Lower the float setting a bit may help.

Shake it, if there's gas inside you will feel it slosh around.

Grab a container of warm water and hold the float submerged in it, any leaks and you will see air bubbles rising from the leak.
