Turbo Failure?

wet stacking, low power,,hearing it rattle as the engine stops are a few ways,,pull the intake hose off and see how much the shaft wiggles, is another..

It started with a leaking injector line. Cleaned pump and injector with brake cleaner and air a couple of times, removed the alternator and leak-off line and changed the line. Started normally and I used it for a hour or so. Checked the line changed as something sounded a little different. Cracked line and a miss developed, tighten the line the miss disappeared. Repeated this and same results. Increased engine speed to rated and got a flutter and then some backfires and flames from the exhaust pipe when letting up on the throttle. The next morning it was hard to start with all kinds of white blue smoke. Engine was always great to start and ran really well and used next to no oil. I always used the fuel excess button on the pump to start first in the morning and it fired in 2 or 3 revolutions. When greasing the u-joints in the hinge you had to have the stop button pulled out or it would start. It ran strong and sounded good......Ron
