Twin city jts

I am needing motor gaskets and carb kit for a twin city jts. Also was wondering if anybody out there has experience with these governors. Names or business would be much appreciated.

First thing is which engine are we talking about - there was a factory kit to replace the original Waukesha JE with a MM RE which was same as Z tractors.

The original JE engine would have had a Zenith 124-1/2TO Carb. The RE engine would have had a Marvel Schebler TRX12 or possibly a TSX97. There are kits for the TSX97 but not much for others.

I would go to Matt Gall at MOTEC Engineering http://www.motecengr.com/ for carb rebuild - he can still do earlier carbs for $75-100 range and does good work. He also does governors for later tractors - don"t know about JE engine though.

As for gaskets, I also would like to have a source. Email me off forum and we can compare notes.

If you have the early carb, find someone who deals in Model A Ford parts. When I got the carb gasket for my JTs, they came in a sealed Ford parts bag.
