Two bottom chisel plow?

I"m trying to break up sod to plant 6-foot swaths between rows of grapes to please my wife. A traditional plow doesn"t work well, not enough room. Does anyone make a two or three-bottom chisel plow that"s reasonably priced? I searched the web and found something that would work, but it was more than two grand...

I use a small one row cultivator, you can take a couple of shovels off of it.

Makes a nice little (chisel plow) plow.

Do the roots of grape vines spread out as much as the upper vines do? If they do, I'd be careful not to cut off the grape roots and hurt the grape crop.

Was at an auction a couple weeks ago and there was a AC 3 bottom mounted plow with the plow bottoms removed and chisel points fastened to the plow beams. Didn't look at it real close to see how they were fastened on. It's an option to think about.

Think I would try those old adjustable Dearborn/ Ford type cultivators, drop off the shanks you don't need. They are a tad heavier than a field cultivator, tho not a true chisel plow.

Seem to go $300 around here.
