TYM tractor value

I have a chance to buy a TYM T264 tractor with quick attach bucket and 3 PT counter weight 2021 model year with 135 hours. All like new. Does this sound like a good deal?

Just for comparison. SR1 (Scott's Recreation) has a 2019 T264H with 894 hours, asking $12,900 in Turner. No cab. Has a QA bucket. 2 range Hydrostat.

Yes a dealer close to me. I have found dealers don't give any deals on anything, plus I have had bad experience with several of them. They will look you right in the eye and lie to you. The old time dealers that I dealt with long ago would treat you fair and make wrongs right. That seems to be a thing of the past since most dealerships have been bought up by conglomerates or multinationals. IMHO

I just saw it for sale and checked it out. I don't really need another tractor but it would be handy sometimes. I have 12 tractors 2 of which are Kubotas and they are good tractors but I feel overpriced. I would be paying cash for it. No more payments at 81 years old. I can't take it with me so I might as well get something I want. Wife has no problems with it.

Because I always tell her about any major purchases to keep her informed. I'm lucky she has never given me any grief after 55 years of marriage. How many can say that honestly?

Wife and I are happily married 54 years ( anyway I am). I have 6,7,8 or more projects now. I tell my wife I should go look at this or that and she says I know you are going to buy it. No problem.

51 years here. Mine will occasionally mention things for the house that I'm not keen to spend money on, but when I really want something there's nothing more than the occasional heavy sigh...

I'm at the age where spending money on the house just so the kids will get more for it when we assume room temperature seems like a poor use of funds.

Local dealer here has several brands of these tractors. He sold several at first then after all people that didn’t know much about tractors and only used them on weekends sales stopped. The dealership is for sale now. You can see them around county for sale in people yards. Cheap deals are not always cheap.

56 years here and my wife says "why leave it for them to squander". So, if we want it and can afford it we get it.

Haven't seen that with the TYM particularly, but there's a herd of Korean/Chinese econo-tractors out there in the same situation. Run 'em till they break, then find out it's somewhere between difficult and impossible to get parts. Branson, Zetor, Brahma and even Mahindra come to mind.

At 84, I have 7 tractors and understand why you have 12. Worth the cost in convenience!

What hole in your 12 tractors would it fill? I'm not close to your age, but the buy once cry once philosophy has already been manifested deep into my soul. I look for reliability, longevity, parts availability, and need. Then I shop price.
