UB stuck brake

I have a UB with the left brake stuck. All I want to do now is to pull it 100 feet into the shed so I can work on the entire tractor this winter. Is there an easy way to un-stuck it? It will not work to drag it in there stuck. It has "live pto"

Hi Brian.Sounds like somthing is jammed up.Try taking the linkage off from the bottom of that left side brake housing and see if you can work it loose. If that does not work , you will have to take the cover off on the left side. You might have to remove the left fender to get the cover off.Your live pto is on that side, so you will have to remove that assy.Once that is off you will see your left brake disc. You might have a broken brake disk jammed up in there.

It was loose when I parked it many years ago. Maybe I had it locked in park. I'm thinking it is stuck in "park". I tried jerking it loose with another tractor, no luck. I'll check the linkage before I take too much apart.
Thanks Brian(MN)

I have had alot stuck brakes, but never on a UB. Most brakes tend to energize more going forward. I have good luck unsticking them by going backward. I have a 5Star with a loader that I seldom use.Every time I use it the brakes are stuck. I simply put in reverse to loosen them and then I'm good to go. Jim

Thanks guys, I got it loose this morning, I just tinkered around with it and yanked it a couple of times with a tractor and chain and it came loose.
