Nothin' is hottern' a wheat field in July, but we finally got all those darned straw bales hauled in and put away.

Think I'm gonna go drink iced tea. :>)

Been hotter than two peck---- billy goat here in the Northern Rockies, Allan! I've been chasin' the wheeline up and down the pasture trying to get it green after haying. It's workin'.

We had a good hay harvest. The warm spell we got in May jump started the grass and we got about 2T/acre of nice clean grass hay. Haven't seen anyone here combining grain yet. Glad you're done and that you put yer feet up and sip some iced tea.

Its been hotter than a nanny goat in a pepper patch with 80 to 100% humidity since the first of the month here in the deep south.

Cut what I figured would make a load of hay yesterday afternoon. Raked it this afternoon, went home got a drink, went right back out and baled it. Son and girlfriend got back from ball practice, and we loaded it. Just over 24 hours from growing, to on the wagon. Did I mention the weather guy is using the word drout? Gads it's dry here! (son plays old time base ball - 1860's rules, on local community college team, where he's on the staff.)

Hi Gang;
This is Evesham (Worcestshire Country) main street Saurday morning. Its 59F, some areas on Friday & Saturday had 6 inches of rain fall. Several towns completely cut off, water 4 feet deep, 10,000's of acres under water. Going to be an awful grain harvest here!
