I see now that the 1936 A john deeres didn't have that clip for the shutter rod on the hood. Does anybody have close up pictures on what its supposed to look like on a 1936? did they have the rod but not clip? as I looked through the pictures it was to find one from 1936 that even had the rod? thanks

The clip didn't show up until later 1937 at serial #460000. The rod just vibrated and banged and wore the paint away.

I have a early 37 and it has curtain.
