Probably beatin a dead horse here, but is it possible to put petcocks on an unstyled b? I know the later ones had them but just curious if you get unstyled ones to have them
Thanks!

That's alright! Just talkin to an old boy that used to work on them and he said you could so just wanted to get some more info

So they would crank easier. My body doesn't work like it used to in turning the flywheel. My 44 BR has them but my 35, 36, and 38 Bs do not.

Frank, I wish my 42 H had them with my shoulders like they are.
I am thinking of building a rig with a small rubber tire on a starter to crank it.

I did it to my 37 b had the block out to resleeve it ask the guy if he could do it no big deal and he did it work like a dream

You reminded me of a funny story about an H. Guy was in the process of fixing it up. He finally had me come over to help him figure out why it would not run right. I got there he had nicely rigged up something similar. Had an electric motor and a belt up around the flywheel to spin it over. He showed me what it was doing. Sounded like it was laboring ? I then proceeded to "I think" kick the motor out from under it and then the engine ran fine ! Turned out his problem was the engine could not make enough power to overcome the motor ! LOL.

I k we a disabled man who's father was the best
mechanic ive ever met. He tuned their 35 b well
enough the disabled son would crawl up on the seat
and kick the top or the flywheel to start it. Just a
thought lol.
