Unstyled B radiator

Is there an overflow line for the radiator on the unstyled B? Couldn't find it in JD parts catalog, and assumed there would be one. If so, where does it connect, and any possible pics would be helpful and appreciated.

Where does excess go if the radiator is overfilled?
The cap has a vent hole in it and if you have a good gasket and the cap is on tight, when overfilled, coolant will flow through that hole and onto the radiator top tank and hood.

Leave 3 or 4 inches for fluid expansion and sloshing around when you fill the radiator and you shouldn't have a problem with it overflowing.

Thanks! Just picked this one up, and the radiator was filled too high. I just wondered why, after driving it around, I noticed antifreeze all over. I assumed that I was missing the tube...

It only has to be a couple inches over the core to get the thermosiphon process to work there’s a little notch that sticks down below where the cap square plate that is the “nut” sits cast into the top tank. That’s the level I fill mine. As said above it will be quite effective at making a mess out of the paint on the hood when overfilled

Late bs should have a tube that dumps it all over the front right tire
