Hey Nick I even know where that pic was taken wouldn't it be great if it was still around, but my guess was it was taken back to Rachine and torn down and scrapped cnt

So do you think the DC castings were made to fit the 400 engine or did the engine match the standard DC castings?

shots were taken outside of Phoneix Az and I would say by the shots I have the "DC" bellhousing was modified to fit the 400 block, I was going to put one together at one time thought it would make quite a tractor, I also wonder if the 400 COM proto survived cnt
 
the 400 engine was ready before the transmission and rear end so they testsed the engine with a DC rear end, engineeres at racine told me that and yes it was taken apart and never make public dctom
