Thanks to everyone who has posted . We figured out that the transmission has a Purolator oil filter on it , even if you can use oil fiters on the transmission the wrong size is on it . ( I checked out the size at purolator site ) . Does anyone know if the wrong filters well make the transmission lose power :?:

It can, but also may not. The correct filter and clean oil are the easiest, cheapest things you can do to troubleshoot an ailing fluid drive transmission.
