upcoming Usap pulls

just wanted to pass on some info. the pull scheduled for july 19 at the Warrick county fair has been cancelled. seems the fair is not having ANY pulls this year and are having a concert by andrea wirth(has anybody ever heard of her?).

Also to clarify. the pull at meade county fairgrounds(brandenburg, ky) on july 21. this pull is using USAP rules completly. that means 15.5 topcuts in superfarmstock. 16.9 top cuts will pull in the modified classes.
just wanted to remind everyone of those things. hope everyone is staying cool and praying for rain. we have corn here that is 3 foot tall and turning brown.

also wanted to add that this sunday at columbus, in our sled will be there. there are two classes paying $200 to win. i have scanned a copy of the flyer and hope i have it where you can click on it.
call Mark Mensendiek, 812-342-0605 for more info.
thanks
Eric

I will come pull with you guys one of these days. Don't worry about being canned for a concert. A local county fair here blew money on big events and music and the 120 hooks worth of antique pullers got moved to Sunday morning. When they were broke they invited us back to do an evening pull. First year back...173 hooks...last year...180 hooks...this year? We filled the stands too. Something about night time under the lights is like baseball. Everyone wants to be a part of it! We're crossing our fingers for the 2012 Michigan Shootout. We're up against NATPA same day in Michigan. Looks like we have a ton of interest so far. Next year I'm looking at traveling to some good laces to pull including USAP. Less politics, more pulling! It was nice to meet you at Princeton's NATPA pull a couple years ago Eric. Wish USAP was closer.

i don't think you have to worry about the natpa taking hooks away from your pull. there are plenty of pullers up your way. i would like to travel up your way someday. seems like a lot of tough tractors come from MI.
and maybe it is cooler there, 106 and 70% humidity here.
later
Eric
