**UPDATE**--Hmmmmm? Thoughts Welcome

Thanks for all of your input on this deal-- 2 8n's $1400. It does appear that I will have to utilize both to make one 'good' one and then maybe have enough parts to make the second one complete enough for someone else. The guy who had them was ready to see them go. No battery in either, 1 rear on each marginal etc so I expressed my honest opinion that I didnt know if I needed this much of a project etc and he responded with give me 800, take both and take a boom pole too which was laying in the weeds. I had to say yes and I hope that you would agree. Obvioulsy with these "opportunities", I will be posting very soon for guidance! And pics of the recovery too once it happens.

My thoughts are that if you'd have walked away from that one , you was foolish . Its not everyday a guy can get(2) 8Ns plus a 3pt boom pole for $400.00 each . Nice find you lucky guy . Be sure to post pics as they sit & as they get loaded . I can remember the joy of finally after 20+ years of trying getting a chance to buy my 1952 8n Funk conversion (BasketCase). I wasted no time at borrowing a trailer & dragging it onto it with a come a long . I took many pics . But then my digital crashed & I lost everyone of them before I could put them on the computor . Dang I am still mad about loosing those recorded memories . God bless
