Update on JD310A with slow and weak hydraulics.
I have found and fixed the following items:
1. The Stroke control valve had the incorrect O-rings on it and the sleeve seal O-ring of the outer sleeve was missing. I corrected this with new valve ($65) and things got a little, but still not right.
2. The Trans fluid filter bypass was worked on and the spring-pin at the front was too long and this stopped the bypass sleeve from going all the way in and seating as it should. Replaced with new outer sleeve and new valve slide ($31) and set spring-pins correctly. Even better still but not right still slow and weak.
3. Pressure control valve was found to have this as follows in order: a) End cap. b) ¼ -20 bold (also known as a backyard mechanic spacer) c) spring. d) Wrong washer bent. e) Valve head just half of it. I get the new valve sleeve and valve head ($86) and when installing it I found that the spring is about ½ to 5/8 inch away from the end cap. My question now is does anyone know what the spring length should be?
I will continue to update because it is what is needed for this site, I get a lot of help from all of you so I just want to return the help.
