Awesome thanks John. I just read your Q&amp;A list...very informative. I'm not convinced fellas the end is near on these old tractors. To be honest, I wouldn't have one if Dad didn't give me his. At a minimum there will be new country boys that need to push snow around up North, and these tractors are a cost effective way to do that. In addition, as long as there are gear heads or mechanical engineers who appreciate all things mechanical, and the simple, yet effective and toughness of all this 40's vintage iron, there will be a demand, maybe smaller, but their will be a demand. My other affliction is a 48 3100 and 53 3600 GM trucks....same answer. Every time I hear a hitnmiss engine firing up at a swap meet, it's like a moth to a flame...I think they will be around for a while.

I agree, as new machines get more and more expensive and too expensive to fix when worn out (if you can even get the parts), the sturdy old N will be there as an alternative for simple jobs. We see every week a new owner coming onto the forum looking for help. We'll be a smaller group but we'll still be here.
