I posted pics of this tractor when it first came in. Has not ran for 15 years. It now has a new fuel tank and valve. New battery box,New starter switch,New key switch,New wiring harness,New carburetor kit,new 6v battery, New steering gear bearings,New points, condenser, rotor, rotor spring,New gasket and screen for the strainer.

After it blew the mouse nest out of the exhaust. It starts and runs fine. The generator is even charging.

Now, it is going to get all new gauges, sending unit, gear shift knob, gear shift boot, overrunning clutch, and a few gaskets.

The new fuel shut off is leaking. The company has already sent me a replacement. I see I already have a dead spider in the new fuel tank.

Nice work. Looks like the new fuel tank has provisions for the fuel gauge sender. Glad to hear another old Ford is running again.
Hate to tell you but, that replacement fuel shutoff valve... it will probably leak too. -Will

The owner is going to use the tractor on a mower.

This is the first time I have had a new fuel valve leak. Not much one can do but try another one. It needs a valve cover gasket anyway.

The new tank has the outlet for an NAA also. If nothing else I will make a new steel line and use a 8n fuel strainer.

The last hundred series I worked on the owner had installed a new shut off. It leaked   it had the wrong size o-ring. A new proper sized o-ring was the fix I did not have top remove the tank :D

I don't know if there the same fuel shut off valve as the 900 but the guy who designed them ought to be fired.

The tank has to come off anyway. Now that I've started it a few
times. The valve cover gasket is leaking badly. Now I know why the
engine was so dirty.

This shut off is leaking out around the brass screw. I'm going to
take the old one a part when I get it out and see if it can be
fixed. I read an article in the N-news on how to replace the
internal o-ring. Should look and see if I can find that issue.
