Update on Case 1070

Tractor runs and drives.Has weld repair on front axle pivot and steering arm.One rear tire shot other rear new.Power steering works ,three point works,pto turns all the time lever in cab appears to be stuck.Has trans temp and trans oil pressure gauges...must be powershift trans?Has two shift levers at front of side console...not sure what tranny it is.Original top link,drawbar and draft arms show minimal wear.Seller firm at 4500.00.Also has good tin and cab in good condition.What do you guys think?Thank's Paul

If it is an 8 speed it is a regular non-synchro tranny (2 ranges/4speeds), if it is a 12 speed (3 ranges/4speeds) it is a powershift. If the engine is good that would be a fair price. Don

This might be a dumb question but would a non power shift model still have trans temp and trans oil pressure gauges?Thank's Paul

I had to check our 1070 to be certain. Yes, an 8 speed has both trans temp and trans pressure gauges. An 8 speed only has one filter under the right front cab corner, a powershift has 2 filters mounted there. Don
