Update on coolant leak

Update. I put a large piece of cardboard under it last week and found the coolant leak. The axle extension was rubbing the lower hose connection and loosened it. I removed the radiator and had a friend solder it up and I ground the axle a little to give it some clearance. I put it back on today but it's still touching the axle but I need to cut grass. Maybe when I get back from my trip I'll take out the radiator and grind some more metal out of the axle extender.

The oil leaks stop when tractor is shut off. Good tip on the governor.

Reddogge,Something is worn like the axle pin and bushing allowing the axle center to hit your radiator.Or the rubber pads are missing from under the two radiator mounting pads, hold down bolts. Or both things. You should not have to grind the axle away to make clearance.

Do you have the rubber cushions between the axle center and the radiator? That would raise it slightly. Other fix might be to replace the axle pin.
