Update on Good deal?

Went and looked at the 8n, I believe it is a 50 by the serial, 8n 230970 as best as could see, When the owner bought it had a loader and backhoe on it that he took off. He said everything was good and worked, but we could not get it to run, also the lever for the hi-lo had been broke and a piece of metal bar welded as a shifter. I don't have the money to buy something pig in a poke so will pass it unless he gets it to run. Two others had passed it before I got there. Said he would take $900,

Hmm.. wrong areacode for ocala.. 904 is for more north.. like jacksonville.

got a link to the add.. if it is ocala.. that is real close to me.

I could use a 900$ N with an aux tranny.

if the engine is good.. i bet i can make it run with a piece of paper and a jumper wire..
