Bought this 60 JD after it sat for several years in shed. Put tuneup in it plugs wires points and timed the tractor. It ran pretty good after that. Put new exhaust pipe and muffler on it sounded way better. drained fluids new oil in engine and live pto also in power-trol. It needs all 4 tires but I found some used fronts and put them on will run the rears a while until I have to change them. Hooked it to the manure spreader this morning and hauled 3 loads of manure with it seemed to run good. Also had to rebuild 3 wire alternator that some one put on it, charging good now. Love being retired as I bought the tractor around the 15th of this month and have had time to mess with it. It has the behlen power steering on it and leaks around steering shaft have found a rebuild kit for it and plan on ordering it and rebuilding the unit. The tractor is well weathered and it will stay that way no plans on repainting it.
