When you order parts be sure to specify that you sign for them when ups delivers. I ordered a 12 volt conversion kit for the 8n. $142 plus shipping. Scewball UPS delivery boy puts it on the wrong porch. Can't find it. Now I have to fight ups to pay for it.

And try to NEVER use DHL...Imagine losing a set of radius rods....never got them....and some other item took months then finally showed uo all torn to pieces..

Agreed. At one time, UPS was the only way to go. FedEx is now cheaper, faster, AND more reliable. I put USPS a distant second.

UPS can be BAD on your reputation.

Sad to say but apparently they just can't hold up their end of the stick...apparently too hot in the kitchen for them so they need to be getting out of the way so maybe somebody can pick up the slack...

DHL sold U S shipping to UPS. DHL will only do overseas shipping when the deal finalizes.. Wilmington, OH lost about 5000 jobs. They are getting a govt grant for several million to retrain workers. Bad times in Wilmington. Population around 12,000.

If you bought with a Credit Card write them a letter saying your refusing to pay, and they can fight ups.

If they can't show your signature on a delivery receipt, VISA will refund your money and back charge the vendor. I just did one for $150. Not a bit of trouble at all; the VISA folks were really helpful.

The ONLY way I will accept any shipment from the US, is with USPS, good service, reasonable rates (just like Canada Post) and no stinkin' 'brokerages fees' ie; $10 item, $21 shipping PLUS $32 'brokerage fee'-- USPS $10 item, $16 shipping, that's it. The damn paperwork doesn't go anywhere near a broker.
