As I said the other day turn the phone sideways, so the camara on he back is up in the left corner, hold the phone straight up and down too, it should work, all I post from is my I phone.

Don't feel bad, Sometimes my smart phone will rotate pics 90 and sometimes it doesn't. If I send pic from phone to computer, I can see if I need to rotate it. So what is happening? Problem with YT or phone?

You might consider either [i:654c4848f0]copying[/i:654c4848f0] or [i:654c4848f0]moving[/i:654c4848f0] your photos from the cell phone or digital camera and storing them in a folder on your computer.

Once the photo is located on your computer, open a program on your computer named [b:654c4848f0]Paint[/b:654c4848f0].

Open the photo in [b:654c4848f0]Paint[/b:654c4848f0].

Click the bottom arrow of the [b:654c4848f0]Select[/b:654c4848f0] icon, then click [b:654c4848f0]Select all[/b:654c4848f0].

Click the [b:654c4848f0]Rotate[/b:654c4848f0] icon, then click [b:654c4848f0]Rotate 180^o[/b:654c4848f0].

The photo will rotate and display correctly.

PB will automatically sense the right direction for you.
I never understood why people have such problems with photos here.
People here can grasp complex hydraulic, bearing preloads, injector pumps, powershift transmissions and all kinds of other complicated stuff.
But they can't get their head around 11 keystrokes of simple html which is childsplay.
I don't get it.

I agree with you, why download twice. If it shows good on phone, why is it getting rotated sometimes and not all the time? Guess it gives someone on YT something to complain about other than my spelling.

If I were smarter, good chance my phone can rotate pics. I would still have to download to YT to see it's rotated, then delete it, rotate it and download a second time. Geo

Turn the "Square" option back off in your phone. That is what switched to the narrow frame.

On my phone you can take pictures both ways looking out or you can reverse it and take a picture at yourself hard to explain if you don't have an iPhone.

You don't have to store them twice.
You store them once.
Consider this:
Let's say there is a thread about Ford serial numbers. Some fellow wants to know where to find it. So you post a photo of the right place to look.
Next month or one year or 10 years from now someone else asks the same question.
Now you know you have exactly the right photo to help the man but how will you find it to post it again?
Upload it again?
I have had this picture stored in photobucket for years and have hotlinked it many, many times.
I can show it here at YT or any of hundreds of other places on the internet.
Can your method do that?
No it can't.
And you don't even have to use html.
Once its stored online just put the url of the photo in the box below where it says Optional Image URL
It's very easy and can be done over and over again.
Don't get mad at me.

When you put a photo up on YT or the Internet you are uploading it.
Everyone who looks at your photo downloads it.
You don't put your Jubilee in reverse to go forward.
