Using 7ft Blade

Does anyone know if you can cut drainage ditches with a 7' driveway blade. It is an angle adjusted blade. Will it be necessary to use stablizers on the lift? Does the draft control need to be up or down? Thanks!

you can angle the blade left or right, right up till it hits the tires... then you can lower or raise one side to get the other side to bite...

make small cuts intially and as you repeat the tires will fall into the previous cut and allow you to cut deeper.

you can make a pass from one end then a pass from the other direction... sweeping the dirt spoils in both directions..

not the best, but it will work...

If you have a plow, that would give you a good starting point.
