Well its official, there is no tractor in shop its all on pallets .
Decided could not live with pitted gears. Lucky because we cought two "gone" bearings. and just had to clean that accumilation of sludge and tar in the trans & differentual.(I don't think it was ever drained)

Really enjoy the pictures and progress reports, that old "U" is going to be better than new, keep up the great progress.

Not surprised at how the rear looks inside . That old 120 or 140 wt.gear grease really made everything real cruddy/ nasty looking . I ve been there ,too.
When you have it all finished you will be very proud of all the work done.
