UTS attachment holes?

What attachements utilized these holes?
Looks like it might be handy to split the tractor.

I believe those were implement mounting holes, not sure which implements, possibly fertilizer attachment for row crop cultivator. I think the rear end housings were the same as the UBs, which they would be used on. I use them for splitting stands.
