UTS plugs help needed

Hi all. How in the $&%&^ do you remove the plugs? I have purchased 6 different 7/8 plug sockets and not a single one will reach down to the plug body to remove them. There is one that will just kinda contact the flat spots but not enough to get a bite on them. They all seem to be contacting the cylinder walls in the plug holes not allowing the sockets to drop in far enough.
Help.

Try a 6 point deep chrome and add the extension last. The extension may not go all the way into the socket but enough to still turn the plug. The only reason for spark plug scockets is holding the plug and keeping the plug straight in the socket because if you are not careful you can crack the porcelain if the socket isn’t straight on the plug going in the head. Just a guess I have never done anything to a minny mo

Problem isn't with extention or ratchet as even with turning socket by hand it only rides on the wall of the jug not allowing sockets to drop down far enough.

I've run into this before- some plugs reguire a 1" socket. Lathe turn or grind the outside diameter down until it will easily go down the hole and onto the plug. Same if it's a 7/8" plug. Have patience, it will work. My favourite U model has two different cylinder heads- identical valve and compression wise, but two different plug threads. Keeps life interesting. unc
