V1702 Aftermarket Head question

Has anyone replaced a head on a Kubota V1702 engine with the aftermarket ones online. They appear to work other than I see a slight difference where they have 2 small holes between each cylinder missing from the looks of it. What are the holes for? Are they a new modification that was made from my original head?

Probably so, If you buy one, take it to a machine shop and have it checked out before installing it. Many aftermarket parts are not built to spec and will cause you many headaches.
