vac-14 dash

after trying to find a decent late dash for 2 yrs for 1rst vac-14, i am thinking of having the dash/batbox reproduced.i have an old style here as well.
i was thinking of utilizing the sheet metal union's apprenticeship unit for this, as i was a sheet metal worker before cancer retired me,which means they would be reasonable to get and it would help their unit, and would come from them directly in md.
what do you sage ones think of this?
i have never found anyone doing so far.

I had trouble finding a good dash for my Case. This man rebuilt mine. When it came to my home I was .. well lets say.. extremly happy with my dash. He sure did some great work on it. Looked brand new! Tell him "Henry from Missouri told you to get hold of him. That he had done my dash"
