VAC Eagle Hitch use with 3 point impliments

Hi, we had a VAC 30+ years ago, it had some type of aftermarket eagle type hitch, and worked OK. It is long gone now. Have been looking at a 1956 VAC with original Eagle Hitch and a front loader. Question is, can the eagle hitch be used on 3 point stuff? Does it require adaptation? And is there a simple way to convert it? Thanks in advance.

i know where there is a vac narrow front 3 point eagle no front loader it hasnt been run in a long time but is not stuck i put a photo ad on here of it i could e mail pics if you are intersted

the eagle hitch is made to work on other brands of 3-pt equipment I have used new and old on my eagle hitch tractors with no problems Tom

My experience with the eagle hith is the same as Tom's. I haven't run across much that wouldn't hook up to the eagle hitch. One word of caution is to leave the lynch pins in place on the draft arm pick up points. There could be enough slop with the impplement moving around on the pins to get all of the implement movement side to side and full spreading of the draft arms(small as that may be) that it might come free from one "claw".

Case implements had a head on their pick up pins to serve the same purpose as the lynch pins when used with the eagle hitch. As well over time these pick up pins on Case implements may have even been switched out so standard 3 pt arms could be attached to Case implememts, which would require the use of lynch pins as well.

Like A MOWER For Instance Make Shur The
Shaft Is Not To Long.
I Have A 430 Case With EAGLE Hitch And
Have No Problem Hooking Up To 3 Point

The Eagle hitch won;t lift as high as a standard 3 pt. In addition to the geometry being different, the arms are shorter. This make things like moving round bales difficult.
