My friend Kurt has just bought his first tractor, a 1948 VAC. It wouldn't turn over and had mouse nest in the cylinders. We pulled the head and the cylinders are fine but the cylinder head needs new valve guides and valves. We found that new exhaust valves were still available from Case but the intakes were no longer available.
Does anyone have a source for guides and valves? We will also need the little rubber cushions that go in the valve spring retainers.
