Vac ratio help needed

Hello all I?m needing som I for on the different gear ratios on different
model vac?s. Did any of them have a faster or slower ratio and if they
did have a different ratio was it changed in the transmission or the
ring and pinion I?m wanting to slow my vac down and all help is
greatly appreciated thanks for all your knowledge shared.

Not to hijack your thread, Puller, but my VAC-14 goes nearly 18mpg in road gear, (I do not know for sure what rpm it's running at. Could likely go 20). Are all my forward gears faster than one that goes about 10mph in road gear?
