vac value

My uncle past away and my aunt wants to know what his vac is worth so she can sell it. It is probably a 51 or 52 has 3 point hitch was orignally narrow front end but he put a wide front end under it. The motor was completly rebuilt a few years back and only used it to pull a trailer and mow.It has long axels but he cut some off each side so it would be narrower Any ideas on value would be apprecated.

Without seeing pictures and with cut off axles I'd put it from $750-1500.

With it having been overhauled in our area the top would be $1300 - $1500.

$1500 tops if the axles have been cut off, and that's only if it's got decent rubber. If the tires are shot, $500. maybe. Sad, but Case VACs just don't have much market value even though they are a fine tractor in the 8n/Farmall A or C class.

Chuck, my VAC-14 had the axles chopped off too because it wouldn't fit in the garage door! Was a crappy torch job and a pain to fix!
