vac14 headlight mounts

greetings all,
my vac14 widefrt has the big brace in front of rad that little light brackets bolt thru the grille to mount headlights. i just aquired a set of these little brackets, they have lights sort of welded onto the brackets and a large hole underneath that. i cannot find a pic of this setup in manual. i think maybe the lights really mount in the round holes?? and the tacked on brackets and lights are wrong?
. my other vac14 has light bar under hood so cant go by it.
any help thank you in advance, i have waited quite a while to finally get this mounted up.
ps: the recent sc is running!! i need to adjust hand clutch but havent received my manual yet.

The front brackets are culivator mounts. The headlights mount either on the footplates or on the sides at front of gas tank.

You might ought to post a picture of the brackets that you are refering to. As far as I know, proper lights for a VAC-14 should be on a piece of flatbar mounted ahead of the gas tank and side panels.
