How good are Valspar Farm Equipment Paints

I have had good luck with there Cat yellows.

They have made paint for many manufacturers over time so if used correct still should work. According to some they still make it for new stuff. Now if you want the fancy stuff like you see at some shows go spend tons of money

I have read somewhere that you mix 8 parts paint to 1 part thinner (Acetone) Has anyone had luck shooting a mix like this in a HVLP gun?

I wrote to Valspar about their Tractor Restoration Paint asking for a dealer. It was sold by Tractor Supply until they replaced it with Mystic which is crap. They wrote back that it is no longer made.

They paint their new tractors and combines with Valspar.

I can't tell you if it is or not. Tour guide told us
we could buy it locally if we needed to match the color.
I'm sure JD doesn't buy it in gallon cans!

Valspar makes many kinds of paint. What JD uses is better than what you get at a farm store. You can buy the better stuff from other sources.
Valspar also makes paint for other companies. We have a local Valspar plant that produces paint for at least 3 different paint companies.
