Value of Case L

This is my Uncle"s 1931 Case L. I will probably be selling it for him on Ebay by the end of next week. What"s the market value for these now?

The tractor has had a somewhat pampered life. My Uncle bought it from the orginal owner. It was bought on full steel and its 1st job was to power a saw mill. Sometime after WW II , It was placed on rubber - those matching Fire Stone tires are still on the tractor. It probably got a new coat of Flambeau Red to match the modern tractors around this time. It was then used briefly to pull a baler until the 50"s when it was placed in a shed and sat until the mid - 60"s when my Uncle purchased it. He did a motor job on it and touched up the paint. He used if for a few years on the farm on and off until they bought some more modern tractors. In the early 70"s , it was placed on display in the AG. Heritage building at our local county fair where it stayed for nearly 30 years. Around 2000, he brought it back home, tuned the motor and parked it the barn until now. He got it out this month, washed it off, and got it running good. He says the only issue it has is the the rear rims are getting rusty. He figures they are good enough to ride around on but if you were to do heavy tillage work, you"ll probably have to put new ones on. The tires appear to be holding air. It has no pto, just a belt pulley. One fender in the back corner was pretty banged up, looks like he did some hammering welding and patching on it. Other than that , the tractor looks real good. Basically, this L has sat around more than anything, and hasn"t seen full time hard work in over 50 years.

Tractor is located about 1 hour west of Albany NY.

Hope the L finds a new owner who will show and run it. It has sat in the building next to the RR tracks way too long. I have a friend up in Gloversville with one about the same age, restored pic. perfect. Plan on getting some pics. of it to The Dutchman for the calander. Also hope he will bring it to the tractor show in Sharon,Fathersday weekend which perhaps you should do if you want to sell it.
