Does anyone know just how collectable or valuable a 1940's Oliver with a front bucket and tricycle tires would be? It resembles the 60 series in the photo album.It's not restored and does run along with the hydraulics.

i don't know it the front bucket is very popular, but someone may like it. overall since it runs and working hydraulics, yet not restored i would say $500-1500, if you have a photo so i can see its condition it could be a little higher.

Thanks Jordan,It's priced at 900 and missing the side panels,kinda figured the bucket wouldn't suit up well with the tricycle tires, don't know much about the Oliver except it was 1 of the first with the 6 cyl.Do they come with a lift?

question one, does this tractor have a 6- cylinder because if it does it would be an oliver 70 not a 60. also what do you mean with do they come with a lift?

What is it worth to you?
A scrapper will pay roughly half of what it will bring for it"s weight in metal at the scrap yard...
If a collector desperately needs it to round out his collection it is worth more to him...
There will be instances where some owner said, just haul it out of here so I don"t have to look at it...

Do a bit of research and ball park figure the cost of parts for needed repairs...
Over and above that number how much extra are you willing to pay to own a working Oliver... That number is it"s price to you...

Personally, I would not pay more than what it will bring for scrap...

I thought all the olivers were 6's and when looking at tractor photos I saw one with a drawbar and no 3 point, like i said, i no nothing of oliver's, i just like the way they look.

2tractors, the most common Oliver with 3 point hitch, would be a Super55 of 550, and it is a 4 cylinder. A lot of the 4 didgit like 1500 and bigger had 3 point. Can you post a picture.
