Van Weight

Manufacturer says new van weighs 5,060 pounds. That includes full tank of fuel and spare tire.
Today the used van shows 5,6060 pounds on the scale - no spare and 1/2 full of fuel.
What added the extra 600 pounds?

Well that was new vs. used. We all put on weight as we age.

Mud and dirt in all the cracks. You would be amazed at how much dirt I took off a semi one year. If every ledge has dust settled and vibrated hard it is a lot of weight.

Seriously though, tire and wheel variations can add quite a bit of weight. And are we talking weight of a basic model vs. an upfitted or optioned model?
