Like I said long ago on this site some
people should not own tractors.

Thank you for that oh so insightful comment.

Now you've said it again so go away for another long time.

There are some pretty smart people here.
Sometimes from their questions you wonder if they are capable of tieing their own shows in the morning. Then maybe like that guy from North Dakota you find out that they are a skilled operating room nurse and you have to wonder why such a smart guy is hanging around with us dumb tractor folks.

I personally maybee don't want that nurse working on me.. seemed to lack common sense in some respects... just sayin.. :)

Dog, Sound....I know a few very intelligent people have no mechanical understanding at all. I think maybe because it's too simple and they think it's way more involved.

usually the issue is either poor communication skills, or they have never been around even a screwdriver. worked with cardiologist who was really good at what he did, but didn't know how to change a tire--or open his hood for that matter---he spent four or five years learning mechanics by rebuilding and restoring a 57 chevy...now he is a pretty fair mechanic as well. the funny thing is that the only reason he did it was to prove his wife wrong because she made fun of him for his unmanly ways.

I think, it is because, some people are........
"Smart as a whip", on "Book Learnin'", but don't have the common sence to put it to work!!!!!
Least that's what my dad use to tell me!!!!

I find it is easier to teach an educated person than teach someone who "thinks" he knows and is not willing to listen to advise.
