Ventialtor pump removal 49 B

Not having a press what is the next best way to remove the ventilator pump from a 49 b

this is not the correct way by any means and im sure i will get told by the correct police but on mine i did not have the correct tools to remove the gear from the end of the fan shaft so i pulled the oposited end of the shaft apart and removed the bearing, i managed to cut the bearing race with a torch and removed it, must be very carful witht the torch though, just cut a slit it it to losen it, then the shaft should slide out the bottom and you should be able to remove the pump, my be worth just taking it to a machine shop and having them remove the fan gear but this worked fine for me and has been fine since the tractor has be reassembled
