vermeer 504 super question

looking at a 504 super i. Never ran a round baler so any tips on running one? Also what is the good and the bad of these balers? Was net wrap ever offered? If so can it be added later? Sorry for all the questions and thanks in advance.

The 504 Super I is great baler. Check condition of bearings, belts, teeth, and chains. Net wrap systems can't be added any more to that baler.

When it comes to running them, ease into your windrow and get a little hay at a time, you'll see the bale start to turn after that your all set, just make sure that you get the bale rolling or else you'll be unplugging the baler which is no fun, other than that, don't over fill, after tying turn off the PTO and then open the baler up, if it doesn't have the manual you can get one from Veermer, just call them up
