VPracing J20A Plus in MF245???

I need to change my Hydraulic/Transmission fluid in my MF245. It was failing to lift the 3pt until the tractor warmed up yesterday (15-20 minutes) in about 10 degree F weather. I checked the fluid level and it was full but looked a bit cloudy or frothy like there was moisture in it.
My Question is, has anyone ever used VP racing Brand oils??
They sell a Utility Tractor Fluid labeled Ultra J20A Plus. It's fairly reasonable at TSC. On the TSC website it is listed as meeting the requirements of M1129A.
I'm looking for some feedback or recommendations whether to use it or spend the extra money and buy the MF/AGCO permatran?
Thanks

I have been using universal Hyd fluid in my MF tractors of that age since they were new and have had no problems. Especially If the oil meets the specs I'd feel very safe using it.

If your manual says use Perma-Tran, you need Perma-Tran or Perma-Tran III. If getting an aftermarket product you need an oil/fluid meeting the Perma-Tran or Perma-Tran III spec. VP J20A plus does not say it meets any Perma-Tran specs, only specs used before Perma-Tran, from what I can find. Your manual should tell you what you need and the specs the product meets should be on the container. If they can't tell the specs it meets on the container, or easily found technical data sheet, I definitely recommend you avoid those.

I have a spin-on hydraulic filter below and to the left of the operators seat. I am planning on changing that also.
Additionally if my memory serves me correct there is a mesh strainer inside that I can access from underneath the Transmission/Rear end. I am planning on inspecting that also.
If I'm wrong about that, please correct me or let me know if I am forgetting something.
Any tricks or advice would be more than welcome.

A operators manual would answer most of this. going to Agco parts books would at least tell sbout filter inside, or call a old MF dealer.
